About Us:

We are an Australian owned and operated company with established offices in 5 states that specialise in Commercial Building engineering consultancy services in: mechanical, fire, hydraulic and electrical. Focusing on Greenfield & Brownfield projects across, Government, high / low rise, health, leisure, education, retail and commercial developments on a national scale through-out Australia and internationally.


This is a crucial role within our company and will suit an (intermediate) experienced and future focussed, degree qualified Electrical Engineer who is looking to progress their skills and career.

Basic scope of Role: (outline but not limited to)

  • “Hands on” Design in all building services Electrical design requirements.

  • 360-degree project involvement

  • Assisting with Tendering / pricing / negotiation / presentations

 

Your "outside the box" thinking and experience will be a huge asset in this role along with the ability to establish strong relationships with Clients and all internal company divisions (nationally).

Skills and experience required:

  • Have at least 3 to 5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the Australian building services engineering sector.

  • Have knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Building Codes.

  • New build construction, fit-outs / referb exp

  • Have a successful record of delivering Electrical engineering solutions for commercial, retail projects.

  • Experience with AutoCad, Revit, AGI, PowerCad (desirable)

  • Be a team player willing to work within a collaborative environment.

  • Be enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a passion to learn.

  • Have an eye for detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:


  • Degree qualified Electrical Engineer 

  • Hold current QBCC certification (highly desirable)

  • RPEQ (highly desirable – higher salary)

  • Have the qualification or, alternatively, be working towards achieving the accreditation of Chartered Member of Engineers Australia.
