Focusing on Greenfield & Brownfield projects across, Government, high / low rise, health, leisure, education, retail and commercial developments on a national scale through-out Australia and internationally.
Our company is growing rapidly which gives our people continuous opportunities to grow their career. We currently have a requirement for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Melbourne office and help grow the expansion of this division.
Basic scope of Role: (outline but not limited to)
Overall design analysis of electrical functionality of projects
“Hands on” Design in all building services Electrical design requirements.
Assisting with Tendering / pricing / negotiation / presentations
Managing electrical projects team activities
Verifying work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with applicable codes and standards, procedures, and the basis of design.
Interactive project involvement
Documentation & reporting
Attending client meetings and site visits
This is a crucial role within our company and will suit an experienced and future focussed, degree qualified Electrical Engineer who is looking to progress their skills and career.
Your ""outside the box"" thinking and experience will be a huge asset in this role along with the ability to establish strong relationships with Clients and all internal company divisions (nationally).

Skills and experience required:
Have at least 5 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer in the Australian building services engineering sector.
Have knowledge of relevant Australian Standards and Building Codes.
New build construction, fit-outs / referb exp
Solid experience with ”DRY FIRE” design (alarm systems etc)
Have a successful record of delivering Electrical engineering solutions for commercial, residential & retail projects.
Confident in Client facing meetings
Experience with AutoCad, Revit, AGI, PowerCad (desirable)
Be a team player willing to work within a collaborative environment.
Be enthusiastic with a positive attitude and a passion to learn.
Have an eye for detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:
Degree qualified Electrical Engineer
Be a registered professional with VBA certification
Have the qualification or, alternatively, be working towards achieving the accreditation of Chartered Member of Engineers Australia.
